摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the volume in a welding chamber with high accuracy by making n-times of measurements with the output signals from a control section. CONSTITUTION:The air-operated valves 9, 10, 11, 13 of the welding chamber 14 (Vc1) having unknown volume and a reference chamber having known volume are closed and the gas of a helium supply system is introduced into the reference chamber 15 by opening an air-operated valve 8 to maintain the prescribed pressure in the chamber 15, then the valve 8 is closed. The valves 9, 10 on the helium supply side of the chamber 15 are thereafter opened to communicate the chamber 14 and the chamber 15 and the equiv. pressure P1 is measured by a pressure gage 19. The valves 9, 11 are then closed and the valve 8 is opened to maintain the prescribed pressure in the chamber 15, by which the second equiv. pressure P2 in obtd. Pn is thereafter recorded for the measured value of the n-th time by the similar procedure and the welding chamber 14 (Vc1) is determined from the inclination of the resulted straight line.
