PURPOSE:To save the time for a user to wait every time said user supplies power and checks a hardware, by so arranging that said check of hardware is performed by comparison of a count value of the number of supplying times of power with a preset value. CONSTITUTION:Every time a power switch is turned on, a counter control unit 2 reads a count value stored in a nonvolatile memory 3, adding 1 to the count value and storing again in the memory 3. When the count value obtained from the counter control unit 2 becomes a predetermined value, a hardware check control unit 4 clears the count value and contents in the nonvolatile memory 3, and at the same time, it activates a hardware check unit 5 for checking the hardware. If the count value does not reach the predetermined value, the hardware check control unit 4 controls the hardware check unit 5 not to do checking of the hardware. |
