PURPOSE:To improve the handling performance of a sequence controller, by programming freely the contents of a monitor display before the start of operation and therefore having an automatic monitor display during operation. CONSTITUTION:A line is displayed with a push of a start button, and then each instruction stored in a user RAM15 is analyzed. Then the format of instruction is checked, and a monitor display plug is set when the instruction is accordant with its format. At the same time, the counter monitor is discriminated from the timer monitor by the input conditions. These discriminated monitors are saved in storing areas 15A and 15B respectively. The latest Z number is written over to a memory only for the instruction with which each counter of timer corresponding to the count or timer number of the storing area is set up. Thus a monitor display is possible in response to the Z number. |
