PURPOSE:To facilitate the high speed operation of a step motor by returning a flyback voltage produced at both ends of a coil to a current source when a current flowed to the coil of the motor is interrupted, thereby shortening the dropping time of a coil current waveform. CONSTITUTION:An anode of a diode D1 is connected to the output terminal (b) of a coil L of a step motor and the cathode of the diode D1 is connected to a drive source of the coil L. Further, the anode of the diode D2 is grounded, and the cathode is connected to the input terminal (a) of the coil L. When switches SW1, SW2 are opened at the time when the exciting pattern is not received, the energy stored in the coil L is returned from the input terminal (a) of the coil L through an output terminal (b) and the diode D1 to the power source. |
