PURPOSE:To achieve a steady denitrificating combustion even when the load of boiler fluctuates, by a method wherein a denitrificating nozzle and an oxidizing nozzle are attached to a single burner, and the center direction of jetting of the fuel is caused to extend in a downward direction. CONSTITUTION:A burner tip 10 comprises mainly an upper denitrificating nozzle 14 extending in a horizontal direction 16 in a combustion furnace through a junction area of a fuel jet hole 11, formed at the outside, and a vapor jet hole 12 provided at the inside, and a lower oxidizing nozzle 15 extending in a downward direction 17 at an angle theta thereof to an extending direction 16 of the denitrificating nozzle 14. A reference sign alpha represents an angle of the direction of the center axis of jetting of the fuel through the denitrificating nozzle 14 and the oxidizing nozzle 15, or a middle direction 18 of the angle theta to the horizontal direction. This uniformalizes the temperature at the inside of a furnace and improves the mixture of each combustion gas to reduce the production of NOX and to achieve a steady denitrificating combustion even when a boiler load fluctuates. |
