PURPOSE:To enhance stability to liquid crystals, by forming a color filter layer contg. an inorganic substance as a base. CONSTITUTION:A transparent base is thinly coated with a fluid prepd. by dissolving a pigment powder, a silicon compd. such as RNSi(OH)4-N' and additives, such as a vitreous material forming agent, an org. binder, etc. in an org. solvent, and the coated material is heat-treated, or the base is coated with said fluid, heat-treated, patterned, and subjected repeatedly to said treatments to form plural color patterns. |
