PURPOSE:To allow a heat exchanger to be easily cleaned even when its front face is deposited with dusts, by providing the inlet face thereof at the front side thereof. CONSTITUTION:While a heat exchanger 4 is vertically provided in such a manner as to inernally partition an air conditioner 1 into a front face side and a rear face side compartments A and B respectively, the front face side compartment A is further partitioned at the center of heat exchanger 4 by a partition member 6 for forming an outlet compartment 6a and an inlet compartment 6b respectively at an upper and a lower portions. An air is introduced by means of a fan 3 from a room through an inlet port 2 into the inlet compartment 6b, the heat exchanger 4, the rear face side compartment B, the heat exchanger 4 and the outlet compartment 6a for discharge out of an outlet port 7. In this manner, because the heat exchanger has its inlet face provided at the front face side thereof, it can be easily cleaned even when there is a deposit of dusts at the front face thereof. |
