PURPOSE:To write and read data in any format, by classifying the formats of a floppy disc and outputting signals in other circuits in accordance with the classification. CONSTITUTION:When an index window detecting signal 4 indicating a single side or both sides, a track format 5, a sector format 6, an ID field, etc. are inputted, a program in a storage device 9 is started and the formats in the floppy disc are classified. An one-side single-density signal 12, an one-side double-density signal 13, a both-side single-density signal 14, a both-side double-signal 15, etc. are outputted to different circuits classified respectively to control read and write, so that data can be written and read in any format. |
