PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of toner powder sticking to the front edge of a paper peeling member, by providing plural separation pawls which are made of metal and come into point contact at tips in the axial direction of a heat roll. CONSTITUTION:Plural acute metallic paper peeling members 4 whose tips are shaped triangularly for point contacting with the surface of the heat roll 1 are provided in the axial direction of the heat roll 1 formed by plating the surface of a metallic roll with chromium. The tip of each member 4 is pressed against the surface of the heat roll 1 under constant pressure. Those members 4 should be pressed against the heat roll 1 uniformly, so thin metallic members with proper elasticity are selected. Further, they come into contact with the heat roll 1 in a high temperature state, so a stainless steel material is used preferably in order to prevent rust. Since the peeling member 4 is only in point contact with the heat roll 1, only a little toner powder sticks thereto. |
