PURPOSE:To improve the color reproducibility, by forming a magenta filter shutting a part of a green color at a location without a cyan filter or without both cyan and yellow filters on an effective image pickup plane of an image pickup tube. CONSTITUTION:The magenta filter 3 shutting a part of the green light is formed at a location where no cyan filter 1 exists or both cyan filter 1 and yellow filter 2 do not exist on the effective image pickup plane of the image pickup tube. Further, the characteristic of the spectral transmissivity of the magenta filter 3 is made almost coincident with the spectral transmissivity of the magenta filter 1 up to a region of about 530nm from the end of blue color in a visual light region. |
