PURPOSE:To collect and store when necessary the data on the address frequency with a simple circuit, by providing an address frequency storage region within a main storage device. CONSTITUTION:An OS control region 21 and an address frequency storage region 22 are provided to a main storage device 2. The region 22 is controlled by a microprogram which collects the data on the address frequency. This microprogram is activated as one of exceptional conditions to collect desired data. With continuation of such processes, the reading frequency is stored in the region 22 for the contents of each address of the region 21 in a period during which a data collecting process is indicated as the exceptional conditions. Therefore the address frequency can be analyzed by reading the region 22. |
