PURPOSE:To capture iron rust particles with high efficiency at a low pressure drop, by reinforcing a filter element with rigid bodies. CONSTITUTION:A perforated plate 21 of a ferromagnetic material is bent to a corrugated shape, and rigid bars 22 of a magnetic or nonmagnetic material are fixed by welding or the like to the bent parts and end parts of the plate 21. Since the corrugaged perforated plate is reinforced with the bars 22, the distortion of the corrugaged shape by the adsorptive force between the adjacent surfaces of the perforated plate is obviated even if the plate is magnetized by the magnetic field applied thereto. Since the viscous resistance force that the perforated plate receives in a jet is in a direction of 24 and is small, the pressure drop is decreased. |
