PURPOSE:To obtain a superior toner not causing an offset phenomenon and the like, by using the toner contg. a resin of a (co)polymer of alpha,beta-unsatd. ethylenic monomer having a specified number of peaks on the mol.wt. distribution curve, and a polyolefin in a specified softening point range. CONSTITUTION:The prepared toner contains a combination of a polyolefin having a softening point within 80-180 deg.C, and a main component resin of a (co) polymer of alpha,beta-unsatd. ethylenic monomer, such as that of styrene type or styrene-acrylic monomer, having each at least one peak mol.wt. in 1,000- 10,000mol.wt. region and 200,000- one million mol.wt. region, and 10-40wt. average mol.wt. Mw/number average mol.wt. Mn. The obtained toner does not cause an offset phenomenon on a heat fixing roll, and requires no mold releasing agent, such as silicone oil. |
