PURPOSE:To remove magnetic toner from a conveying means without using any scraping means, etc., for the conveying means, by forming a guide body which covers the surface of a rotating magnet body so that an image carrier is covered from a part close to the image carrier to a part where magnetic toner falls by its weight on the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:Residual magnetic toner T on the surface of the image carrier 6 rotating as shown by an arrow is scraped off onto the guide body 5 with a scraper blade 3 and moved on the surface of the guide body as shown by an arrow through the operation of a moving magnetic field established on the surface by the magnet body 4. Then, the magnetic toner is released from being attracted at a weakened part of the magnetic force of the moving magnetic field where the magnet body 4 moves away from the guide body 5 and falls in a toner reservoir 2 and is stored therein. Thus, the residual magnetic toner T is removed from the image carrier 6 without using any scraping means for the guide body 5. |
