PURPOSE:To prevent the distortion rate due to the dispersion of frequency characteristics of a recording head from getting worse, by adjusting the equalizer characteristic of the sound recording after the sound recording bias is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:In the first place, a bias current of sound recording is adjusted with variable resistors 10a-10c so that the distortion rate becomes lower. Then, the reproducing level at 1kHz, 10kHz, and 15kHz is adjusted so that it is flattened by changing the equalizer characteristic of sound recording with variable resistors 12a, 12b, and 12c. When a recording head 5 and resonance circuit are constituted and the above-mentioned resistors 12a-12c are adjusted, the equalizer characteristic of sound recording can be changed. In this case, the distortion rate is used as a reference for setting above-mentioned bias current. However, a well-known MOL can also be used as the reference. |
