PURPOSE:To improve yield, and to enable mass production by combining a coil and a core, placing them on a lead frame and sealing the coil and the core with a resin. CONSTITUTION:A coil 1 is wound previously, and molded previously with adhesives, etc. A lead frame 3 is made of a metallic plate consisting of connecting sections 4 and electrode sections 5. The frame 3 is inserted into a die, the coil 1 into which a core 2 made of sintered ferrite is inserted is arranged between the orthogonal sections 7 of two electrode sections 5, and leads 8 are connected to the sections 7. The coil 1 and the core 2 are sealed with the resin into which ferrite powder is mixed and dispersed. The chip inductor 27 is obtained by cutting and detaching a resin sealed section 9 from the lead frame 3. Accordingly, yield is improved, and the inductors can be mass-produced. |
