PURPOSE:To measure an accurate value of a processing time in detail, by taking a microinstruction as a unit and counting a processing time from a measurement start corresponding address to a measurement end corresponding address with a counter. CONSTITUTION:An address of a measurement start instruction of a processing time is set to a register 2 and an address of an end instruction is set to a register 3, respectively, a measuring enable signal 16 is brought to 1 and the measurement is started. A micro mu program is given, an address of a mu instruction is inputted successively to a mu instruction address register 1, the mu instruction corresponding to the address is executed and the content of the registers 1, 2 and that of the registers 1, 3 are compared respectively at comparison circuits 4, 5 at the same time. When the contents of the registers 1, 2 is coincident, an output of the comparator 4 sets an FF 8, and a pulse from a clock generating circuit 10 is inputted to a counter 12 for counting it. When the content of the registers 1, 3 is coincident, the comparator 5 resets the FF 8, the input of the clock pulse to the counter 12 is inhibited and the time from the start of measurement to the end is represented in a parallel output signal 14. |
