PURPOSE:To feed the desired quantity of a compressed air to a starting valve at a desired time, by performing a control of the opening and closing operation of electromagnetic valves, which switch the direction of the compressed air to the starting valve of a Diesel engine, based on the angle of a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic valves V1, V21, and V31 for opening and closing a starting valve are mounted to a starting valve 4 for feeding compressed air in a cylinder. An electromagnetic valve controller 12 performs control of the opening and closing operation of the electromagnetic valves V21 and V31 based on a signal from a rotary encoder 14 connected to a crank shaft 13. The compressed air is fed in a cylinder 6 through a starting valve 4 after passing through an automatic starting air cut valve 2 from a starting air tank 3. This enables adjusting of a quantity of the compressed air fed in the cylinder, and a timing of feed thereof, where necessary. |
