PURPOSE:To simplify structure, to reduce cost, and to raise the operation speed, by arranging an opposite electrode at the position facing the arranged position of a recording electrode by the medium of an image bearing belt, attaching a developer to the belt to form an image, and turning it to an image diplay part to display it. CONSTITUTION:A drive circuit has a voltage application switching function in response to a time series image element signal, and sends a voltage signal to the signal electrode 52 selectively. A toner image corresponding to the series of signal voltages on the outside of the belt 43 successively each time the belt passes by the electrode 52 in the course of the turning. The belt 43 on which the toner image is formed is moved to the peep window 41 of the display image, and stopped at a time to display the image through the window 41. After the lapse of a prescribed time, the belt is turned again by pushing a button for indicating redrive of the belt, and repeatedly used for the next image display. |
