PURPOSE:To secure film advancing and retrieving operation and to realize compact structure, by providing a film pressure plate and a freely rotatable roll in a film passage part, and making notches, etc., for installing sensors near square holes for projection. CONSTITUTION:A film cassette 10 consists of two cases 11 and 12 in combination, square holes 11a and 12a of nearly the same size with each frame Fa of a microfilm F are formed at the film passage part 10C, and sensors for positioning and retrieval are installed in notches 11b and 12b formed aside of them. The film pressure plate 15 having a square hole 15a is interposed in the film passage part 10C of both cases 11 and 12 to press the micrfilm F against the case 12 by the elastic force of a spring 16; and the roll 14 is provided rotatably aside of the square hole 11a of the case 11 and a cooling hole 10d piercing the film passage part 10C at right angles to the film advancing direction of the part 10C is also provided. |
