PURPOSE:To prevent the performance from being deteriorated, by providing a redundant memory chip train in a control memory and switching the memory at a failure taken place so as to use the redundant memory, for avoiding a load from being concentrated to an output of a specific memory chip. CONSTITUTION:The control memory 1 includes the redundant memory chip column, being (n+1) column. If a failure takes place in the i-th column word of the control memory 1, the erroneous data is read out at the 1st register 4, an output Ci is set to the 2nd register 6. The readout cycle of the control memory 1 is interrupted and the rewrite is loaded with the new n-th column excluding the i-th column at the 1st selecting circuit 2. After the end of the reload, the 2nd selecting circuit 3 receives the content of the 2nd register 6 and outputs a new content. Thus, the deterioration in the performance of the microprogram controller is prevented. |
