PURPOSE:To obtain uniform lighting in a room by forming cut in one end surface of a photoconductor rod or pipe and emitting light transmitted in the rod or outer circumferential wall of the pipe from the end surface. CONSTITUTION:Light, e.g. solar light L condensed through a lens system, etc., propagates in the photoconductor rod 1 while reflexted by the wall surface of the rod 1 and then emitted from the end surface of the rod. The cut 1a is formed in the light emission end surface of the photoconductor rod 1 to diffuse and radiate the light L effectively. Consequently, the light L is emitted from the photoconductor rod 1 at a wide angle of light radiation. |
