PURPOSE:To perform accurate air-fuel ratio control for the stable operation of an engine through a simple construction, by using a single thermosensitive mechanism to regulate a throttle valve and fuel. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of an engine is low, the operating rod 19 of a thermosensitive mechanism 4 is moved back and an arm 22b is pushed on a restricting arm 24 by the elastic force of a cam return spring 35 to keep the degree of opening of a throttle valve 2 high. When the temperature of the engine is high, a fluid M is expanded to push out the operating rod 19 to turn a cam 22 clockwise to lower the degree of opening of the throttle valve 2 through the restricting arm 24 which follows the arm 22b. At the same time, a link 36 coupled to the cam 22 comes into contact with a lever 31 on the rear end of a valve stem 33 and moves rightward with the turning of the cam to displace a valve element 12 forth. When the negative pressure in an intake pipe has exceeded a prescribed magnitude as a result of the complete combustion of the engine, a diaphragm 26 is sucked against the elastic force of a spring 27 to turn the lever 31 clockwise to move the valve element 12 forth so that a fuel passage 6 is closed. |
