PURPOSE:To save print paper, by printing a mark only based on the initial clear or the clear entry key and preventing the mark print based on the succeeded key operation. CONSTITUTION:In operating a clear key C or a clear entry key CE of a key input device 2, a CPU1 inputs ''8'' to a register A of an RAM14 in response to a program stored in an ROM 10, and a printer prints a clear mark CL via a print control circuit PCU interface IF19 and a PCU4 on paper. Even if the key C or CE is depressed succeededly in this state, since the A register of the RAM14 is ''8'', the printer prints nothing. When a key other than the C or CE is depressed, the A register is ''0'', and a symbol in response to the depressed key is printed. In depressing the key C or CE next, the mark CL or the clear entry mark CE is printed. Since the marks CL, CE are not printed even if the keys are depressed continuously, the print of unnecessary marks is avoided. |
