PURPOSE:To reduce low-frequency noises generated when printing and prevent deformation from being brought about by shocks, by a method wherein the interior of a metallic pipe covered by an elastic material at its outside periphery is partitioned into a plurality of chambers. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of metallic disks 6 are dispersedly arranged on a platen shaft 8 so that slanted surfaces 5 of the disks 5 are slanted in the same direction, and are fixed by fixing rings 7 to constitute an internal structure 4. The structure 4 is inserted into the pipe 2 of an outer cylindrical body 1 in the direction of an arrow (a), starting from the side on which the diameter of the disk 6 is larger than that on the other side due to the formation of the slanted surface 5. In this case, since the diameter of the disks 6 is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the pipe 2, the disks 6 are inserted while being bent against the frictional force generated between tip parts 10 of the slanted surfaces 5 and the inside peripheral surface 9 of the pipe 2. Then, the platen shaft 8 is drawn out in the direction of an arrow (b) until the slanted surfaces 5 of the disks 6 come into contact with the inside peripheral surface 9 of the pipe 2, whereby the disks 6 are is fixed by rotating with a click feeling. |
