PURPOSE:To get in sure touch with a called party, by transmitting automatically a pocket bell number of the called party at the absence of the called party and displaying a caller's number on a pocket bell terminal device for informing the caller's number to the called party. CONSTITUTION:When the caller SubA makes a call to a subscriber SubB, a ring tone is transmitted to the called party SubB from a ring tone transmission circuit RTS via a subscriber's circuit LC. A controller CC monitors the response of the called party SubB via a scanning circuit TSCN. When no response from the called party SubB is obtained after a prescribed time is elapsed and the caller SubB subscribes for the pocket bell system and has a pocket bell number, the controller CC discriminates it from a main memory MM and transmits the pocekt bell number of the called party SubB and the number of the caller SubA to a pocket bell exchange PSW. The exchange PSW displays the caller number on the pocket bell terminal device PSub and transmits a caller tone. |
