FEEDING AND CONDENSING RECIRCULATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To curtail the cleaning service of a hot well in a boiled water type nuclear plant by providing bypass lines between a condensate purifier and a high pressure condensing pump and between the first feed-water heater and the condensate purifier, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A side stream type condensing system comprises a condenser 1 and a condensate purifier 6. A bypass line 28 is provided between a secondary hot well return line 7 and a feed-water heater inflow line 9. Another bypass line 30 is provided between a feed-water circulation line 16 and the inlet of the condensate purifier 6. Draining of water in a hot well immediately after an interruption of plant operation may become possible so that the cleaning of the interior of the hot well as well as the rust removal from the internal wall face of the hot well after the draining can be carried out sequentially, curtailing the duraion of those services when periodical inspection is performed.
