PURPOSE:To make the control function of a timing adjuster checkable, by adjusting the rotational phase angle of a cam shaft with a phase-shifting circuit so as to cause check marks, checking the congruence between a stroboscopic flash and an injection timing, to be adjusted right. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 3 drives an injection pump 1 by way of a timer actuator 2. In a state of initial setting, an engine is operated while a phase- shifting circuit 5 is adjusted so as to cause a stroboscopic flash to be adjusted to each of check marks 10d and 10c. At this time, also check marks 11d and 11b are trued up so as to accord with each other. Afterward, when engine speed is stepped up, the timer actuator 2 performs timing control whereby observation can take place kinetically by a check mark 10a or another check mark 11a, thus an injection timing control function can be checked and adjusted. |
