PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strength of a thin metallic disk, by providing a nonslit part, whose width is smaller than the width of each slit of a mask plate, in the slit opening part of the thin metallic disk having slit codes. CONSTITUTION:A slit part for slit codes for control pulses is provided at the outer periphery of a thin metallic disk 11. Slit codes for driving pulses for generating pulses for detecting the position of the rotor of a motor 1 are provided at the inner part. At the opening part of said slit part, a nonslit part, whose width is smaller than the width of the slit in a mask plate 6, which is located on the same shaft for the driving pulse slit codes, is provided at a suitable pitch. The mechanical strength of the thin metallic disk 11 is improved by said nonslit part. |
