PURPOSE:To improve the development of a fuel spray as well as to make combustion efficiency better, by making up a nozzle hole interconnecting a nozzle baggy part to a combustion chamber in a way of enlarging a sectional area at the combustion chamber side from the point midway, in case of a fuel injection valve for internal-combustion engine use. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is spouted to the inside of a combustion chamber from a nozzle hole 09 and comes to a spray of fuel. The nozzle hole 09 turns to a round hole as in a diameter (d) outward from a nozzle baggy pat 07, steppedly extends to a circular hole as in a diameter (d1) at a distance l' and furthermore becomes a circular section as in a diameter (d2) at the outlet. The fuel flowing into the combustion chamber from the nozzle hole 09 forms a fuel spray because the sectional area of the nozzle hole 09 is suddenly enlarged. Thus, not only the formation of an air-fuel mixture and fuel spray development are improved but also the combustion efficiency of an engine is made much better. |
