PURPOSE:To provide a transfer medium provided with a printed matter capable of being adhered to an arbitrary member and capable of being utilized as the so-called image-imparted sealing material, wherein an adhesive layer is provided on at least on side of a base. CONSTITUTION:A coated layer 3 basically comprising a film-forming resin coating material and functioning as an ink-receiving layer is provided on a surface of a base 2 to obtain a transfer recording medium 1. An arbitrary image 4 is formed on the medium 1 by using an ink, and then a transfer medium 5 consisting of an adhesive layer 6 and a main body 7 is laminated thereon. In this case, the adhesive layer 6 is faced to the coated layer 3, and the laminate is passed through a pressing means such as press rollers 8a, 8b. Thereafter, a separating operation is performed by a separating pawl 9, whereby the coated layer 3 is released from the base 2 and is transferred onto the transfer medium 5. By providing an adhesive layer on the other side of the base 7 of the transfer medium 5, the transfer medium 5 provided with a printed matter as above can be adhered to an arbitrary member. |
