Cable sections make-up set - consisting of two grippers, two auxiliary grippers, and cutting stripping unit for cable press

Ready-made cable sections are assembled by a transporter (3) which unwinds a cable (1) from a reel (2) to a machining unit (4) which includes a cutting unit and two insulation stripping units. Grippers (7,8) whcih can be swivelled clear of the path of the cable feed each a cable end, stripped of its insulation, to a cable shoe press (5,6). Two auxiliary grippers (11,13) are allocated to the grippers (8) and can be used to deal with the processing of the two parallel cable ends by the grippers (8). ADVANTAGE - This is a more versatile machine for ready-made cable sections.
