Sail structure used, in particular, for the traction of a sailing vessel provided with a mast (12) characterized in that it comprises a sail (14) consisting of inflatable compartments placed side by side and provided with air inlet and interconnected laterally by their sides, at least two ropes (16, 18) whose first extremities are attached on said sail at the rear of its leading edge on a single line and whose second extremities are attached respectively at deck height at the head of the mast, the angle of the sail being self-adjusting according to the wind, and manoeuvring device of this sail on the mast comprising a rope whose two ends provide for a pulley-action, a close-looped braided rope and two strands passing through these extremities and integral with an extremity of the sail while the other extremity is connected to the boat. |
