PURPOSE:To enable the international dial transmission for a subscriber through a booth telephone, by using a magnetic card on which the connecting destinations and calling time are recorded and then recording the remaining time on the magnetic card when a call is over. CONSTITUTION:At a booth telephone operator seat BTO, a magnetic card 9 for each connecting destination is inserted to a card slot 2 of the BTO. Then desired calling time is fed by an input key 3. The calling fee is received from a subscriber, and a card 9 is handed to the subscriber. The subscriber put the card 9 into a card slot 6 of a booth telephone BT8 and then dials the called subscriber number. At the same time, the desired calling time recorded on the card 9 is displayed to a display panel 5. When the called subscriber gives a reply, a controller 7 counts the elapsed calling time. At the same time, a subtraction is carried out to the display on the panel 5. If the call is over before the remaining calling time reaches ''0'', the remaining calling time displayed on the panel 5 is recorded on the card 9 by the controller 7. |
