PURPOSE:To cut down the cost of seabed foundation work by providing a rubberized (synthetic rubber) cloth diaphragm on the downside of a shape steel lattice partition provided at the bottom of the hollow of a concrete box. CONSTITUTION:A rubberized (synthetic rubber) cloth diaphragm 3 is provided on the downside of the shape steel lattice partition 2 inside a concrete box 1. The box 1 is designed to be floated by being positioned to (b-c). A diaphragm type buoyant structure for the seabed foundation work, consisting of structures A and B, is towed to a given construction site, ready mixed concrete 5 is placed from the upper part of the box 1, and the diaphragm 3 is settled through the partition 2. As the concrete 5 is packed, the lower side of the diaphragm 3 is matched with the undulatory surface of the seabed 6 and the concerte 5 is settled on the seabed 6. |
