GUIDE RAIL OF WELDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To widen the range of the weldable shape of base material by forming a rail body of a guide rail with many small piece members connected with connecting members having flexibility and mounting a chain having the sprocket intermeshed therewith. CONSTITUTION:When a rail body 3 bends to the left, a flexible shaft 13 on the right side is pulled against the spring force of a compression spring 16 with a chain 12 as a center, and the spacing between the small piece members 5 on the right side increases; at the same time, a compression coil spring connecting to the flexible shaft 13 on the left side elongates and the spacing between the members 5 on the left side decreases. When the body 3 bends in a vertical direction, the members 5 bend each other along the curved surface between a projecting part 6 and a recessed part 7 and the shaft 13 and the chain 12 curve as well in following up to the curving of said member. Thus the guide rail deals thoroughly with the welding in the part to be welded having a three-dimensional curved shape.
