PURPOSE:To simplify the regulation in convergence of three electron beams for enabling proper picture regeneration with little color aberration in a short time by providing a heater on more than one electrodes of plural electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 15 arranged in a straight line are provided. Opposing to said electrodes 15, the first grid electrode 11, the second grid electrode 12, the third grid electrode 13 and the fourth grid electrode 14 are weld-fixed to an insulating support 16 in order. Nichrome resistance 17 coated with an insulating material 10 is mounted on the grid electrode 13. Then, a current is applied to the nichrome resistance 17 from the external power supply 19 to heat the grid electrode 13. When the grid electrode 13 has reached a thermally stable state, the external power supply 19 is cut off. Thereby, the regulation in convergence of the three electron beams is simplified thus enabling to perform good picture regeneration with little color aberration in a short time.
