摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent all the more the pollution of an infrared ray detector by a method wherein an opening in the cooking range is closed even at the time of heating, on the base of the detection of a food heating temperature by the infrared ray detector. CONSTITUTION:A control section 15 opens a shutter 8 by energizing a solenoid 12 and starts a microwave heating operation while the temperature of the food is detected by the infrared ray detector 7. Then a time (t) required for the detected food temperature to rise from a first temperature Ti at the time of initial heating operation to a second temperature T2 is counted and a time (t') required for the food temperature to reach a desired temperature T' which is lower than a desired heating terminating temperature T3 is counted on the base of the time (t). The control section 15 closes the shutter 8 by deenergizing the solenoid 12 for a length of time from the time the above mentioned second temperature T2 is reached up to the time (t'). Thus, when the time (t') lapses, the control section 15 energizes the solenoid 12 again to open the shutter 8 and the microwave heating operation is performed while the food temperature is detected again. After that, when it is detected that the food temperature has reached the heating terminating temperature T3, the control section 15 terminates the microwave heating operation and closes the shutter by denergizing the solenoid 12.
