PURPOSE:To prevent damage by soil and sand to the walls of a collecting chamber for lengthening the life of the chamber by a method in which a shock absrober of a plate form is provided in the collecting chamber between the opening of the connected part of a vacuum hose and the communication path between the collecting chamber and a filter. CONSTITUTION:A collecting chamber 5 to collect soil and sand through a vacuum hose 12 and a filter chamber 6 are provided, and both the chambers 5 and 6 are led to each other in such a way as to enable a negative pressure suction force from a vacuum suction blower 3 to be provided to the collecting chamber 5. Also, a shock absorber 14 slantly laid tensely by a coil spring 13 in the face of the connecting part 11 of the hose 12 is provided between the opening of the connecting port 11 for the hose 12 and a communication port 8a at the top of a pathway 8 leading from the collecting chamber 5 to the filter chamber 6. Soil and sand coming into the collecting chamber 5 collide against the shock absorber 14 and the soil deprived of its kinetic energy drops toward the lower part of the inside of the collecting chamber 5. |
