PURPOSE:To detect the abnormal of a computer as quickly as possible and to suppress the time enabling the defective computer to operate as it is at the minimum by setting up optimum time to a timer to detect the abnormal of the computer. CONSTITUTION:The timer 2 is started by a computer 1. The timer 2 detects the program execution time of the computer 1 to detect the abnormal of the computer 1. The timer 2 is constituted so that the setting time can be changed by a program. At the starting of the execution of each routine of the program, the setting time of the timer 2 is set up slightly longer than the execution time of each routine and when the timer 2 counts up the setting time, an abnormal signal is outputted. |
