<p>The regulator is controlled by rotary knob (12) attached to a circular disc marked with three primary zones of light, semi-shade, and shade. The disc is also marked with four concentric circles defining three circular zones. The inner zone in the daylight segment is radially partitioned into zones marked with the illumination powers available. The adjacent zone in the middle band is subdivided into intervals defining the diameter of the area to be illuminated, and the outer zone into intervals representing distance between the lamp and the plant. The disc is positioned relative to a pointer (18) on the controller housing to determine the exact power supplied to the lamp. The unit may also be used to control watering of the plants.</p> |
