PURPOSE:To maintain the normal arc welding of a rotor by using ceramic for a fixing jig which contacts an end ring internally and positions the end ring on a lamination core end surface. CONSTITUTION:A lamination core 1 is mounted in the center of the fixing jig 14 and the end ring 3 is centered and fixed by the fixing jig 14. A conductor 2 is inserted into the slot 11 of the lamination core and a conductor retainer 6 presses the conductor 2 against the end ring 3 tightly through an air cylinder 7. Then, the conductor 2 is welded to the end ring 3 in one body by a torch 8 to manufacture the rotor. At this time, when the end ring 3, conductor 2, and fixing jig 14 are at the same potential, an arc 9 deteriorates in directivity, so the fixing jig 14 is made of ceramic for electric insulation. Consequently, the arc 9 is stabilized and the normal arc welding is maintained. |
