PURPOSE:To control a die casting machine easily and economically and to simplify a controller in the die casting machine provided with various cylinders by providing a flow rate controlling valve which is common to these cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Flow rate controlling valves for setting speeds of a die clamping cylinder 10, an extrusion cylinder 12, a core cylinder 14 and an injection cylinder 16 in a die casting machine are omitted, and a flow rate controlling valve 40 such as a proportional magnetic controlling valve or a digital flow rate controlling valve which can vary flow rate steplessly is freshly provided to a part of the hydraulic system common to the above-mentioned cylinders 10, 12, 14, 16 to establish a meter-in control system or meter-out control system. Just one flow rate control valve is required in place of the four flow rate controlling valves normally required for the respective cylinders, whereby the meter-in control and meter-out control for each cylinder are made possible, the controller is simplified considerably and the equipment cost is reduced. |
