PURPOSE:A cosmetic that contains components selected from fat and oil, oily components and surface active agent, each of which has multiple bonds in its molecule, and 1-hydroxypyridone-2 or its salt, thus inhibiting the oxidation during the storage. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized cosmetic is obtained by adding at least one selected from fat and oil having double or more multiple bonds in its molecule, such as olive oil or castor oil, an oily component such as honey wax or lanolin and surfactants such as polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester and a compound of the formula (R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkl, aryl, aralkyl, benzhydril; R2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, halogen, phenyl). The amounts of the fat and oil, the oily component, the surfactant and the compound of the formula are 0.1-70wt%, 0.1-70wt%, 0.1- 30wt% and 0.1-5wt% respectively. |
