The bogie has a supporting frame (1) which is supported in sprung fashion at at least two points on side elements (2) by means of which in each case two axles (3) are connected to one another. In order to damp relative movement between carrying frame and side elements, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the side elements, and to bring about a stabilising effect in the transverse direction, a friction damper (6) is arranged between each side element and the supporting frame. The friction damper is formed by a spring (7) which is attached to the supporting frame and at least two friction elements (8) which are pressed by the force of the spring against friction faces of the side element lying opposite one another. The spring is constructed as a coated flat spring with two spring ends at which the friction elements are movably mounted. <IMAGE>
