PURPOSE:To provide the nonwoven fabric excellent in thermal insulation, grade, holding feel and surface printability, thus suitable as a facing material requiring decorativeness, having a specified range of 'metsuke' (weight per unit area) and at least specified value of thickness under load. CONSTITUTION:The objective nonwoven fabric having the following characteristics: (1) 'metsuke' (weight per unit area): 100-1000g/m<2> (pref. 150-500g/m<2> and (2) thickness under a load of 8g/cm<2>: >=1mm (pref. 1.5-5.0mm). It is preferable that this nonwoven fabric be made up of at least two layers, one of them being made of filamentous nonwoven fabric 30-70g/cm<2> in density. |
