The method is for producing a lift door from a pliant sheet and cross beams, the beams being fixed one at a time to the sheet. In the method, the sheet is fed between fixing sets so that the beams are located in the completed door at the required distance from one another. The beams are then formed into a stack which is held in position whilst the door is being made, and the fixture sets are positioned progressively from one end to the other of the beam stack, resulting in a door which is folded up for ease of transport. |
