PURPOSE:To improve corrosion-resistance and wear-resistance of a link chain by forming a film where minute particles such as graphite and so on are separated out with nickel on the surface of a steel having surface hardness of more than 570HV and internal hardness of 36-50HRC. CONSTITUTION:It is suitable that the steel raw material for a link chain has surface hardness of more than 570HV and internal hardness of 36-50HRC, and a chain grade of more than grade 80. Electro-plating is performed on the surface of the steel raw material with nickel plating liquid having lubricating property and wear-resistance, where minute particles such as fuoric high-polymer, graphite fluoride, solicon carbide, molybdenum disulfide are dispersed, so as to form a film where minute particles are separated out with nickel on the steel surface. This is used for the link chain. |
