发明名称 APPARATUS FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE AND THERMAL ENERGY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain resolvability of <=1ms, by melting and recrystallizing a top end of sapphire glass to form a thermal radiation layer, by connecting one end of an optical fiber to a back end of the sapphire glass and connecting optically an infrared-ray detector to the other end. CONSTITUTION:The top end brought into contact with a point to be measured of a temp. measuring probe 1 is made to the thermal radiation layer 2a recrystallized by melting a top end of the sapphire glass 2 and is formed by connecting one end of the optical fiber 3 to the back end of the glass 2. The other end of the fiber 3 is connected optically to an infrared-ray detector 5 through a condensing lens 4, and an output signal of the detector 5 is inputted to a displayer 6. The resolvability in temp. and thermal energy measurement made in this way is decided by the time necessary for sufficient diffusion of surface heat of the top end of the probe 1 and a time constant of the detector 5. The resolvability of <=1ms can be obtained by forming the layer 2a to a sufficiently thin state and by using the detector 5 of high response speed.
