PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor which eliminates false recognition, by providing a light deflection part and an optical path difference part to be changed according to a change in the physical quantity of a measuring object between a pair of cylindrical lenses of pi/2 cut wavelength connected with optical fibers for inputting and outputting. CONSTITUTION:Specified light power is sent like direct current to an optical fiber 1 for inputting, and is converted to parallel rays by a cylindrical lens 2. The parallel rays enter a light deflection part 8. The part 8 is so constituted that the light pulse spot irradiated therein is passed through different optical paths by the change in the vector simulation 10 of the physical quantity of a measuring object. The light spot from the part 8 is irradiated to the incident point of an optical path differencd part 9 corresponding to the physical quantity of the measuring object at 1:1. The part 9 is coupled with the optical path wherein the incident point and the exit point correspond at 1:1 and is so constituted that the distance up to the exit point differs with the different incident points. The light spot at the exit point of the part 9 is inputted through a cylindrical lens 6 of pi/2 cut wavelength to an optical fiber 7 for outputting. A specified rate of delay is subtracted at the output end of the fiber 7 and the exact measurement is accomplished. |
